Barre Fitness

Alicia Petty received her Barre Fitness Instructor Certification through Barre Intensity in February of 2022. Barre Fitness is a combination of Pilates, Dance, and Functional Fitness Training. One does not have to be a professional dancer or have a dance background to experience this incredible and effective style of fitness! The classes are 55-60 minutes in length and incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that combines the upper and lower body to make every minute count. Barre Fitness is a total body workout that is low impact, creates strength while lengthening the muscles, and improves balance and a sense of connection between the mind and body. Barre Fitness welcomes all ages and backgrounds and is beneficial for athletic performance, injury prevention, longevity, and other everyday tasks while ultimately having fun!
